Professional Content Creator

New Zealand (Wellington preferred, remote considered) Marketing Full-time

Own how Keyhook shows up in the world — from customer testimonials and weekly mailers, to feature launches, brand storytelling, and value-driven content.

About Keyhook

Keyhook is a modern, Kiwi-built property management platform shaking up an industry that's been stuck with clunky, outdated software for far too long. We're building something genuinely better — and our customers feel it. Now we want our content to reflect that same energy: smart, useful, human, and a little bit bold.

About the Role

We're looking for a Professional Content Creator who loves turning real stories into great content.

This role sits right at the intersection of customers, product, brand, and growth. You'll own how Keyhook shows up in the world — from customer testimonials and weekly mailers, to feature launches, brand storytelling, and value-driven content that actually helps our customers do their jobs better.

This isn't a "post and hope" role. It's about creating content with purpose, personality, and impact.

What You'll Be Doing

Customer Stories & Testimonials

  • Talk to real customers and turn their wins into compelling stories.
  • Create testimonials, case studies, and videos that feel genuine — not scripted.
  • Build a growing library of proof that Keyhook delivers real value.

Weekly Mailers & Customer Updates

  • Own our weekly customer mailers (and make them worth opening).
  • Translate product updates into clear, helpful, human content.
  • Work closely with Product and CX to ensure accuracy and timing.

Brand Presence & Promotion

  • Help shape and maintain a strong, professional (but not boring) brand presence.
  • Create content for LinkedIn, the website, campaigns, and launches.
  • Keep everything on-brand: modern, friendly, confident, and Kiwi.

Creating Value for Customers

  • Produce content that teaches, helps, and adds real value.
  • Turn features into "here's why this makes your life easier" stories.
  • Support customer education with guides, explainers, and feature highlights.

Feature & Product Launches

  • Work alongside Product to plan and execute feature launches.
  • Create launch content that's clear, exciting, and genuinely useful — not hypey.

What Success Looks Like

  • Customers feel informed, supported, and excited to use Keyhook.
  • Sales and CX have content they're proud to share.
  • Our brand feels consistent, polished, and human everywhere it shows up.
  • People actually read, watch, and engage with what we put out.

About You

You're creative, organised, and comfortable owning things end-to-end.

You will thrive in this role if you:

  • Have experience creating quality content in a startup, SaaS, or tech environment.
  • Are a strong writer with great instincts for tone and clarity.
  • Enjoy talking to customers and pulling great stories out of conversations.
  • Can juggle multiple content streams without dropping the ball.
  • Care about quality, accuracy, and how things land with the audience.
  • Like working in a fast-moving environment where things evolve quickly.

Bonus points if you have experience with video, photography, or basic design tools.

Why Join Keyhook

  • Work in a fast-growing Kiwi startup where your work is seen and used.
  • Have real ownership over content and brand presence.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, CX, and Leadership.
  • Build a body of work you'll be proud of.
  • Help shape how an entire industry sees Keyhook.

If you like autonomy, momentum, and building something meaningful, you'll fit right in. If you want to create content that actually matters, this is the role.

Note: When applying, please include a link to something you've created that you're proud of — a piece of writing, a video, a campaign, or anything that shows us how you think and create.
